Are you also one of those girls that always wanted to wear a jumpsuit, but doesn’t have the figure for it? If you are, brace yourself for some big-time news – you are not. Anyone can wear a jumpsuit. The only trick is to get the right fit. I saw a number of gorgeous ones throughout the years and every time I tried one of them, the result was utter disappointment. It took me years to realize what kind of jumpsuits fit me well and I was shocked to even know that such kind exists. You shouldn’t feel bad or unattractive if you fall under this category. Jumpsuits are tricky and most women have a hard time finding one that fits them well regardless of how gorgeous they are. Getting the right fit

The most important thing to do is find the perfect fit. This may be the most difficult, as well. However, some of the main things to consider are that the suit shouldn’t be too tight as it will feel extremely uncomfortable and look a bit distasteful. On the other hand, it shouldn’t be too wide either as it will make your curves look very unflattering. Of course, sometimes you can have an unfortunate event of the top fitting, but the bottom being too tight or too wide and vice-versa. Be persistent and you’ll find the right one. After that, the others will come more easily.

Wide legs, high heels

Even though you’re free to combine all sorts of footwear and accessories with your jumpsuit, some rules still apply. One of them definitely is that wide-legged jumpsuits go with elegant high heels. It’s simple, if you wear flats to wide legs, it will make you look much shorter and free you of all the elegance this crop implies. This is why one must be very careful when dealing with jumpsuits, some combinations can be a complete disaster.

Show your curves

If your waist isn’t a compromising area, consider wearing a belt that will put an emphasis on your waist and make the fabric follow the line of your bottom. It will make you look absolutely stunning and leave everyone in the room breathless. Depending on the cut, fabric, belt and the overall look, you can wear this on many occasions. If you combine it with some nice jewellery and heels, it’s a great special occasion. When you find the right fit, you’ll find yourself addicted to jumpsuits. Not only that they look beautiful, but they’re extremely practical, too. A classic model can serve you for multiple occasions. It can be recycled a hundred times. Just change your accessories and it’s a brand new outfit. Not to mention the fact that it’s much easier to combine with other items. You don’t have to think about matching the top and the bottom as they’re a unified front. You just need a hairstyle, footwear and a bag and you’re good to go.

Every time we start looking forward to the swimsuit season, there’s that little voice inside our head that reminds us we are not all that ready to jump into a bikini. Whether you’re a new mommy in the neighbourhood, or your work has kept you away from visiting the gym regularly, your body is probably in need of some detox and exercise. Fortunately, with a couple of useful tips, you’ll be able to get that body back in shape, and jump into your favourite swimsuit in no time.

Work out

Strength training exercises are the fastest way to a beach ready body. With just 15 minutes of efficient training sessions a day, you’ll get the perfectly sculpted body in just a couple of weeks. It’s important that you combine body-sculpting moves that will shape your buttocks, hips and stomach, keeping them firm and toned. Not only will you have a well-sculpted body, with those exercises, your metabolism will speed up and you won’t gain weight as easily. Mix squats and lunges, include push-ups and planks, and watch how your body is becoming more ready for summer each day. You could also think about working out with your friend, spouse, or a sibling and keep yourself motivated for each session.

What’s more, don’t try to starve yourself, eat smaller portions of food more often. Try to have three regular meals, and at least two snack times in between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner, when you’ll have some fruit or a protein bar. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water, both during the workout and through the day. Eight glasses of water a day is the recommended amount that will keep your body hydrated and healthy.

Final thoughts

Getting into shape is somehow always on our mind a month before summer starts, and we can’t help but whine about how lazy we’ve been for the past year. However, if you only control your diet for a couple of weeks, and include regular exercise for 20 minutes a day, you’ll get a better figure in no time. Add a bit of cosmetic surgery to the mix, and you’ll get yourself a beach ready body.

How do you add vintage textures in Photoshop?

Textures are invaluable resources to photographers. Vintage texture, in particular, can date back your picture in time, generating a vintage, dramatic effect.

For that reason, we have compiled this article to show you how you can quickly add a vintage texture to your image using Photoshop. Photoshop has several beneficial features that can help you increase your productivity and save you time.

Here is how to achieve a vintage texture in just a few simple steps:

Step 1. Select A Picture

You will need to select an image the appears convincingly vintage when adding this texture for photoshop. After selecting the image, proceed forward and open it with photoshop.

Step 2. Change the Colors

There are various tabs from which you can choose your alternative color effects. To give a vintage look to the image, select the Abstract tab.

Then choose Gold-Crimson from the drop-down menu. You can try out various effects based on how you want your final picture to look like.

Step 3. Add a Vignette

Next, copy the background layer and name it as “Filter Effects.” Then, Right click the filter effects layer and choose the “Convert to Smart Object” option. That means that you can utilize multiple filter effects in a way that does not destroy your image.

To add a vignette, Navigate through Filter>Lens Correction. Under the Vignette tab, change the Midpoint and Amount to any figure of preference. Then click OK.

Step 4. Select a Blending Mode

Choose the mode for blending from the drop-down menu under the Layers panel on the right side of the screen. You can run tests with various blending modes until you get the one that suits your preferences.

Step 5. Add A Black and White Layer of Adjustment

Select the Adjustments panel and click on the Black and White button. You can also navigate through the following steps on the menu bar:

Step 6. Add Some Grain

To add some grain, navigate through Filter>Filter Gallery>Textures>Grain. Increase the intensity and contrast to the levels you want. Keep the Grain Type on Regular and then click OK for effect to get applied. Save your file as a PSD to keep your layers intact.

Step 7. Set the Opacity of The Vintage Texture Layer

Select your vintage texture layer and select Opacity. Adjust the slider till you get the desired effect.

Step 8. Remove the Unwanted Marks from the Picture

If you find that the texture is too much or little, you can always adjust your image further. You can get rid of the marks that obstruct the details of your image.

Highlight the texture layer, then go to your menu bar and navigate through Layer>Rasterize>Smart Object. After rasterizing your texture layer, select the Healing Brush button on the left (it has a Band-Aid appearance. Before fixing your picture, you will need to choose a “source point.” That is the point on your image that you need to utilize to repair the damaged area. To select a source point, click on the option and click on the image and drag your mouse over the area you wish to repair. You can try out with strokes to determine the method that works best for you.

Now go forth and add vintage textures to your images using photoshop!
